Inter market, hot axis with Lazio: three big players in the crosshairs

The calciomarket axis between Inter and Lazio is heating up again: according to rumors, the Nerazzurri club is evaluating several names from Maurizio Sarri’s squad, and could soon come forward with official offers. As is well known, the Milanese club has Mario Gila in its sights for the defense and l’Azzurro Nicolò Rovella for the midfield: the former is a common target with AC Milan, the latter has just undergone surgery for a pubalgia problem and will only return in January.
But there is a third name that has been climbing the Nerazzurri’s purchase list in recent days and it is that of Matteo Guendouzi, a midfielder born in 1999 who has lost altitude in Maurizio Sarri’s hierarchies. The French player has been struggling after the Tuscan coach’s return to the 4-3-3, and if the capital market unravels in January he could be one of the first to be put on the market. Il Messaggero reports.
L’Inter is ready to seize the opportunity and could soon knock on Lazio’s door, which is mainly waiting for offers from the Premier League: Aston Villa had asked for information in the summer. The former Arsenal man would now be worth around 25-30 million euros according to the biancoceleste club.
Guendouzi has played nine Serie A matches so far, scoring one goal and making one decisive assist.
