Market, Varese basketball armors coach Giannis Kastritis until 2028
Varese Basketball announced the contract extension with coach Giannis Kastritis. The 43-year-old Greek coach’s great dedication to his work convinced the club to bet on him until the end of the 2027/28 season.
Here is the official statement from the club: “Pallacanestro Varese announces with great satisfaction the contract extension of coach Giannis Kastritis until the end of the 2027-2028 season. The club is very happy to continue the path taken together with a coach who, since his arrival, has brought professionalism, game identity and a strong work culture, qualities fully in line with the club’s values.
This choice stems from the belief that technical continuity is essential to allow the team and the club to grow in a solid and ambitious manner. The shared vision between coach and management is a strength of the red and white project, which looks to the future with determination and confidence”.
At the moment, Varese Basketball has won two of eight games played in the LBA regular season but has shown, often, good basketball.
