Sergio Perez ready for rematch: "We will surprise a lot of people"

Sergio Perez dreams of a rematch in Formula 1 behind the wheel of the Cadillac: the Mexican former Red Bull driver, who will return to the circus in 2026, wants to impress. “It&#8217s irrelevant where we start, and what matters most is how quickly we can progress. I want to push the team forward from day one. I think we will be able to surprise many. That is our goal: to be able to make a strong impact in Formula 1”.

Perez spoke after the Imola tests: “It was good to confront with the team, I insisted on some specific areas, giving some pointers. It is great to have a team that you feel you can influence and ask certain things of”.
