AC Milan, Adrien Rabiot reassures everyone: "I’m fine, can’t wait to play the derby"

Adrien Rabiot, star of ‘I’m Coming Back’ on Dazn, has recovered from his injury: “I’m fine, I’ve been working in the gym and outside these weeks. I just miss the field! Musically and mentally I am very well. No athlete likes to be injured, I am sorry I could not help the team during this period. I took a little more time to recover, because when it comes to the calf you have to be careful. Better not to risk being another 3-4 weeks out”.
On Massimiliano Allegri: “With the coach I always got along well. I am very happy to have found him again, I like to be with the right people. Allegri is great, he is always positive and knows how to communicate with everyone. On the field I like his “anger,” determination, desire to win. I always find myself in his speeches, he always finds the right words, even when we didn’t play well at the end of the game. His personality gets into your head, and this group of young players does very well. For the coach I am a “crazy horse”: I am a player who always gives everything, who goes back and forth. He likes horses and I think he likes the comparison with horse racing.”
Sunday he will experience his first Milan derby against Inter: “An electric match, I’ve never seen it at the stadium, but I can’t wait to be there because I like these kinds of matches so much. On TV you don’t get a good sense of the environment, but it will be nice to be able to say we played a derby like this. It will be difficult, we are two strong teams. It will be decided on the details. Maignan told me about the importance of this match, how crucial it is to win for history and for the fans. All this charges me up, I can’t wait to play, also because I haven”t played for a month and I really want to get back on the field”.
Closing on the scudetto: “We have a strong team. With my mentality I try to push all my teammates to give their best, we are a good group. The important thing is to stay close to first place, but it is still long. There are so many games between November and December, including the Super Cup, which is our goal. Already in February we will have a small estimate of where we can get”.
