Paolo Vanoli spoke in a press conference ahead of Fiorentina-Juventus, scheduled for Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Franchi. “We know that the match is worth so much for the fans – he began -I would like to see a big commitment and ferocity inside the match, without getting down in the difficult moments, which will be there. I want us to react in the negative moments and for the players to focus on the present, action after action to do the best. The’humility of winners is knowing today where you are and where small steps can take you”.

“My concern is to make it clear today where we are– added the Viola coach. In Genoa there’was a first, small step, but to achieve great successes we have to accept a ‘roller coaster’ path. We must come out of this situation in a united way, the players must understand first of all what to do on the field, and second that we are part of a big family. I ask the purple people to be there for us to get out, but we have to be draggers of this”.

Injured Chapter: “Gosens has been working separately and will not be there for this match. For the rest, there are the national teams whose different aspects we have to evaluate. Kean is fully recovered after a tibia problem. He has been training with the group this week. Of Moise I went to see the national team games and I think he is a complete and quality player. He can play alone or with a forward next to him, but I am not tied to a system of play”.

“We meet a coach whom I respect, with whom I have compared often, especially last year when he was coach. In the phone calls we had he always gave me great insights and great ideas. He had the intelligence not to upset Juve but I expect that he can change the system of play and return to the 4-3-3 that is his dogma and that led him to win the championship against Napoli. When you change coaches it is dangerous because there are few games to analyze, so we should be good at understanding what happens in the course of the game” concluded Vanoli
