Parma market: it’s done for Zion Suzuki’s replacement

Parma has found the replacement for Zion Suzuki. The Japanese goalkeeper, who was forced to undergo surgery after a compound fracture of the scaphoid and third finger of his left hand that will keep him out 3-4 months, will be replaced by Vicente Guaita.
According to a report in the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Spanish goalkeeper born in 1987 will undergo medical examinations on Thursday afternoon before signing a contract that will bind him until the end of the season with the club gialloblù.
Mister Carlo Cuesta will be able to count on Guaita as early as the ducali’s next challenge, scheduled for Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at the Bentegodi against Hellas Verona. It will be up to the Spanish coach to decide whether to launch him from the 1′ or prefer Edoardo Corvi, the Crusaders’ second goalkeeper.
Guaita, who will turn 39 next Jan. 10, wore the jerseys of Valencia, Getafe and Crystal Palace, before returning to Spain to Celta Vigo, from which he was released at the end of the season in 2025.
