Villeneuve on venom with Elkann: "Happens often in Ferrari"

The ’former Formula 1 driver Jacques Villeneuve commented with some surprise on the statements of Ferrari chairman John Elkann, who a few days ago had scolded Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton telling them to “talk less and focus more on driving”.
“We should not be surprised, because we remember how it ended with Prost, with Mansell, with Alonso, with Sebastian Vettel. It seems to be a trend in Ferrari, Ferrari comes first and Ferrari will always protect Ferrari” are the words to the microphones of BetVictor Casino.
“It’s been a bit shocking, but it seems to be Ferrari’s way of doing things if you look at the past, drivers with a certain personality have always somehow gone on a collision course with ownership”.
“Brazil was simply a crooked weekend, not because there was a lack of pace or because the drivers were not doing well. I think those were statements that were a bit out of line, related solely to winning the WEC in comparison to what happens in F1”.
