Juventus market, former Premier League star also in the crosshairs

Luciano Spalletti recently reiterated to the Juventus management the need, as early as January, for a new addition to the Bianconeri midfield. The club has various profiles in its sights and recently the name of Ruben Neves was added to the list.
The Portuguese champion has an expiring contract with Al Hilal and has never hidden his nostalgia for European soccer. He left Wolverhampton in 2023 for 55 million euros, today he earns more than 17 million euros a year and clearly needs to revise his demands if he wants to return to Europe.
The Old Lady has a contract with the Al Hilal club.
The Old Lady also has Marcelo Brozovic, now at Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr, in its sights. Luciano Spalletti knows him well having coached him at AI’Inter and would be delighted to find him back in Turin. The Croatian is also on contract expiration and may decide to return to Italy after the Arab experience.
Juventus is also working on a new defender: the big dream is Eric Garcia, whose contract is expiring with Barcelona. The champion’s entourage and the Blaugrana management have met several times to talk about renewal but an agreement has not yet been found.
