Lazio market, Roma market, derby for a midfielder

Lazio and Roma could find themselves face to face not only on the field but also in negotiations. The name that ignites the interest of both is that of Giovanni Fabbian, a Bologna midfielder who is attracting the attention of the two Roman clubs.
Lazio is watching the market with a view to the next moves and is seriously evaluating Fabbian should Guendouzi leave. According to Il Messaggero, the Frenchman could be sold for close to 30 million. Half would be reinvested precisely on the Bologna player, considered a profile suited to Sarri’s needs and with still ample margins for growth.
On the other side of the Tiber the talks are no different. Roma is reasoning about the future of Niccolò Pisilli. The young midfielder’s start of the season has not convinced. He has found very little space, less than a total time in Serie A, and seems to be struggling to fit into Gasperini’s dynamics. Bologna has been following Pisilli for weeks and could offer a loan deal as early as January. Among the hypotheses under study is an exchange that would bring Fabbian to the Giallorossi and the young Roma player to Emilia.
Massara is looking for midfielders who can easily fit into Gasperini’s schemes, giving breathing space to KonĂ© and Cristante, who have always been used so far. Fabbian has racked up 8 league appearances and 3 in the Europa League and likes his pliability a lot. Gasperini sees him as a player ready to regain continuity with a system that values running and insertion.
