F1, GP Las Vegas: Max Verstappen masterpiece, Lando Norris looks ahead to World Cup

The Las Vegas GP, the third’last round of the F1 World Championship, saw the success of Max Verstappen. Thanks to a perfect start (mistake by Lando Norris), the Dutchman took the lead and never looked back, bringing home a special victory that still keeps him in play in the World title race.
Lando Norris, after a bad start, handled the rest of the race well, thinking above all about the World Championship, which is increasingly in his hands, also by virtue of the collapse of teammate Oscar Piastri, off the podium. The Briton’s second place finish brings him very close to the first World Championship title of his career. He now stands at +30 over Oscar Piastri and +42 over Max Verstappen.
Pretty anonymous race for the Ferraris with Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton never in play for the top positions. Dignified test of the seven-time World Champion who, starting last, recovers several positions, finishing tenth. Applause, however, for Mercedes with George Russell third at the finish line. Also doing well was Kimi Antonelli who, however, paid a five-second penalty that caused him to slip out of the Top 5.
Of note, at the start, the serious mistake of Gabriel Bortoleto who creates panic, touches other single-seaters and is immediately forced to raise the white flag.
