In recent weeks there has been some insistent talk of Juventus&#8217s interest in Raphaël Guerreiro, an outgoing full-back from Bayern Munich. The Portuguese star has a contract with the Bavarians expiring in June and the chances of renewal are very close to zero: the club wants to green up the squad and Guerreiro is not contemplated in the German club’s future plans. Vincent Kompany would like to keep him in the team until June, Bayern Munich’s management, on the other hand, would prefer to sell him in January to recoup some money: this is where José Mourinho’s Benfica take over, looking precisely for a new full-back.

Raphaël Guerreiro has also publicly stated that he is a Benfica fan: the Portuguese has never played in his homeland but does not want to end his career without experiencing La Liga Portugal. Mourinho has had the Bayern Munich champion on his radar for some time and is asking his managers for an effort to buy him in January, so as to get ahead of the competition (in addition to Juventus, there are also some Arab clubs) and have the experienced defender available immediately. Clearly, Guerreiro’s will will be decisive: the German media do not rule out the possibility that the Portuguese will decide to finish the season with Bayern Munich.

Raphaël Guerreiro may not be the’only reinforcement in defense for Juventus: the Bianconeri are making various reasoning about the rearguard of coach Luciano Spalletti and there is no shortage of sensational options: among them there is also a possible arrival of Sergio Ramos under the Mole. The Spanish defender, a Real Madrid legend, has decided to leave Monterrey at the end of the year, at the end of his contract with the Mexican club: his goal is to return to Europe to close his career in the soccer that counts. Ramos had already been approached by several European Serie A clubs last summer, including Juventus and Milan.

According to rumors, Sergio Ramos is aiming to relaunch himself in Europe because he still dreams of a call-up to the 2026 World Cup and may be interested in an offer coming from Serie A, especially from a top club like Juventus. Sergio Ramos would bring leadership and experience that would be crucial to Spalletti’s lineup, which is still searching for its own identity. However, his recruitment and, above all, the physical integrity of a player who will turn 40 in March are to be evaluated. The Spaniard is also being followed by AC Milan, which dreams of reuniting him with another former Real Madrid great, Luka Modric.
