Both Juventus and Roma are looking for a new center forward to shore up their offensive department: the Bianconeri, although there were positive signs against Udinese, are not satisfied with Jonathan David and Loïs Openda, and Dusan Vlahovic will only return at the end of February. Gian Piero Gasperini is not totally satisfied with Evan Ferguson and Artem Dovbyk and has already asked the Giallorossi management for a January market graft. In the last hours, the two clubs have set their sights on Fabio Silva, who is not finding space with Borussia Dortmund and could therefore make a change of scenery.

Borussia Dortmund spent more than 22 million euros to buy him in the summer from Wolverhampton but the Portuguese expected to play more. So far he has collected just over 220 minutes, too few to be satisfied with his experience in Germany. He will soon have talks with the yellow and black management and may ask to leave the club as early as the winter soccer session. According to German media, Borussia Dortmund would like to sell him outright right away, Roma and Juventus, on the other hand, are more inclined toward a loan with buy-back conditional on the fulfillment of certain conditions, first and foremost qualification for the next Champions League.

Luciano Spalletti’s Bianconeri are also looking for a defensive graft: in particular, the Old Lady is tracking in La Liga the performance of Natan Bernardo de Souza, aka Natan, a Brazilian center-back who moved to Betis Sevilla in 2024 after a disappointing year in Naples. Natan had left the Azzurri club on loan after Antonio Conte did not guarantee him a starting spot and accepted the offer from Betis, where he has settled in perfectly and projected himself to high levels: last season he played 52 games, helping to lead the Iberian team to the Conference League final.

His performances under Manuel Pellegrini attracted the attention of several European clubs, and Natan has become a mainstay of the team at the age of 24. According to Iberian media, Juventus is reportedly ready to put a major bid on the table to grab the player, who was bought back from the Andalusians for just nine million euros a few months ago. The Brazilian player had already been approached by the Old Lady last summer, but negotiations never got off the ground. Natan now has an estimated market value of around 20 million euros and a contract until 2030. He could soon make his debut for the Brazilian national team.
