Juve Stabia stops at the post with Bari

The Serie B Week 10 match between Juve Stabia and Bari ends in a scoreless draw. The Vespas fail to break through the biancorosso wall – two goals cancelled in the first half and a post hit in the final – and have to settle for a point that brings them to 19, together with Catanzaro, eighth in the playoff zone. Precious point, on the other hand, for the Galletti who rise to 14 points, the same as Mantova, 15th and out of the play-out zone.

One-sided first half at ‘Menti’: on 26′ the hosts took the lead with Gabrielloni′ s winning header off Candellone′ s assist, but the referee nullified the goal due to a foul by the Yellowoblù striker. On 39′ it was Correia who swelled the net but the French midfielder was offside: nothing done.

In the resumption finally came the first chance for the guests with a Verreth free kick from the limit that gave Confente the shivers. At 78′ Vespas still close to the lead but the shot of the newly entered Mosti, on Gabrielloni’s bank, is printed on the post. It therefore ends 0-0.
