Milan market, it’s clash with Roma for new bomber

Milan and Roma are looking for a new striker and want to take action as early as the winter soccer session. Santiago Gimenez is disappointing and Christopher Nkunku is late in condition, on the other hand Evan Ferguson and Artem Dovbyk do not guarantee reliability for Gian Piero Gasperini. That is why the Rossoneri and Giallorossi have been working for weeks to identify the right reinforcement to solve the striker problem. Also in the crosshairs of the two clubs is Arnaud Kalimuendo, who is finding very little space at Nottingham Forest and is obviously unhappy with the scant minutes.

Acc Milan’s season has started rather well after a disappointing'year…
… back on the bench is Max Allegri, who has put many things back in place…
… even if the roster is far from the one characterized by the three Dutchmen: Ruud Gullit, Frank Rijkaard and Marco van Basten
"We could use a Ruud Gullit, such a powerful one we have been missing for years" say the fans
Gullit at Milan was not only a great footballer…
…but also a symbol of an era
The Dutchman arrived at Milan in the summer of 1987
He was bought by PSV Eindhoven for a record sum at the time
Berlusconi wanted to build a dominant team in Italy and Europe
Gullit was the perfect symbol of the ambitions of the Milanese entrepreneur
1987-88: won the Scudetto immediately, breaking a long abstinence of Milan

In the same 1987 Ruud won the Ballon d'Oro: the maximum at the indivual level
1988-89 and 1989-90: he was absolute protagonist of the two consecutive Champions Cups won by Milan
He also won several European Super Cups, Intercontinental Cups and other Scudettos (1991-92, 1992-93)

Compared to Sacchi with Capello he had less space: in 1993 he left Milan for Sampdoria

The young French striker moved to the Premier League in the summer, when Nottingham Forest poured 30 million euros into the coffers of Stade Rennes to buy him. An initial adaptation period is of course justified but we are talking about a real case here: Arnaud Kalimuendo has played less than 300 minutes so far, spread over 11 games, between the EFL Cup, Europa League and Premier League. He has thus played just 7 percent of the available minutes and has never started, a clear sign that something is wrong. According to English media, the striker has already told his entourage to look for an alternative solution for January.

In recent weeks there has been a lot of talk about the possible farewell of Santiago Gimenez to AC Milan as early as January: the Mexican center forward has so far collected just 1 goal in the Coppa Italia and the general performance has not at all convinced Massimiliano Allegri, who wanted to part with him already in the summer (there had been much talk about a possible exchange with Roma’s Artem Dovbyk). A number of Premier League clubs seem to be on his trail, Sunderland above all, but the latest statements of Rafaela Pimenta, Bebote’s agent, to ESPN have stopped rumors of the Mexican’s possible departure at least in the winter soccer market session.

“If the Premier League wants him, I’m not surprised they want him. That there is one, two or three clubs interested seems normal to me, but the idea of him leaving Milan does not exist. Santi arrived in January at Milan, and he arrived at an AC Milan that was not first in the standings, not to say that it was struggling. All the facts, messages, and words I have had from Milan have always been positive. There was not a single moment when Milan told me that something was wrong. Whenever the press talks too much, I call Milan, and Milan always answers me, ‘No, we are calm, everything is fine, thank you’” said the prosecutor.
