Roberto De Zerbi sends a specific message to suitors

Committed, in the match scheduled for Friday night, to defending third place in the league from Lille’s assault in the latter’s direct home clash, Olympique Marseille’s Italian coach Roberto De Zerbi also answered in the press conference introducing the match questions about his future, sending a clear message to the suitors.
“The way I see it, I think I will stay at Marseille for quite a while longer’ – said the former Sassuolo and Brighton coach, among others.
I would like to go beyond three seasons and become one of the longest-serving coaches in the club’s history. I am fine here, even if sometimes unfair criticism comes and sometimes there’s some confusion”.
“If everyone, starting with the club, is happy with my work, I think there will be no obstacle to me staying here– added De Zerbi. Working in Marseille is a privilege, despite the pressure and expectations. The team can achieve great results this year and in the future”.
After fourteen days of Ligue 1, Olympique Marseille is third in the standings with 29 points, behind surprising leader Lens, which has 31, and “usual” PSG, second at 30. De Zerbi’s team, in its last game before tomorrow, drew 2-2 at home against Toulouse, conceding the equalizing goal from Santiago Hidalgo in 92′.
