Exclusively for Sportal.it, Roberto Policano, a former defender for, among others, Roma, Napoli and Torino (nicknamed “Rambo”), spoke about the Giallorossi’s moments.
Roberto, what do you think of Roma? Can it fight for the Scudetto?
“Roma is doing a very good championship so far, maybe even beyond expectations. There’s been this stop with Napoli which, however, doesn’t mean anything. I think they will play it out for the top positions”.
Satisfied, then, with the work of Gian Piero Gasperini?
“Absolutely and we are only at the’beginning of his work. Roma, with him at the helm, can fight for something important”.
Roma that has also recovered in the Europa League…
“Every competition is important. I think Gasperini will focus a lot on this cup, also because he has shown that he knows how to win it. He will want to go all the way”.
