There is a footballer, perhaps a bit’surprise, who is proving to be the extra man for Cristian Chivu&#8217s Inter, currently third in the standings ex-aequo with Roma one point behind leaders Milan and Napoli: he is Carlos Augusto. Landed at the Nerazzurri to be Dimarco’s deputy when Simone Inzaghi was on the Biscione bench, with the Romanian he has since become useful also on the right flank, where he has acted on the reverse foot, becoming a key pawn for the Nerazzurri’s game. And now, according to what FCInterNews.it reported, the Nerazzurri management is working, moreover not as of today, on the renewal of the 26-year-old Brazilian’s contract.

Martino DavidiSometimes they come back: José Mourinho’s name resurfaces (but Chivu rest assured)

Here we go again: José Mourinho is back in the square…
… the'farewell to Fenerbahce, not painless because it came after the failure to qualify for the Champions League…
… forced him to a period of forced rest
The 'Special One' can't wait to get back into the game….
… and a club in which he has already worked could give him a new opportunity
Cristian Chivu, who did not get off to a good start in the league with his Inter team, can, however, rest easy…
… the company in question is not the 'Beneamata' of Milan
The drafts coming in from England are becoming more insistent…
… you can’t say Ruben Amorim is making waves on the Manchester United bench…
… and here it seems that the figure of the more experienced Portuguese compatriot
Mou coached Manchester United from May 2016 to December 2018
In his first season (2016/17), Mourinho put as many as three trophies
The Community Shield, English League Cup (EFL Cup) and Europa League
In the second season United finished second in the Premier League behind City
The third season was short-lived…will there be a fourth?”

The deal seems really close for the association between Inter and Carlos Augusto to go beyond the current deadline of June 30, 2028, or in 2 1/2 seasons. His current salary is 2.2 million euros net per&#8217year, but the goal is to armor him until 2030 and increase his salary, until it attests up to about 3 million. In short, for the club and the coach, Carlos Augusto is something more than an’alternative:.he is an added starter, reliable and able to solve tactical problems whenever they arise. And there is no doubt that Chivu and the managerial triad Marotta-Ausilio-Baccin are in great agreement to keep the South American.

Carlos Augusto Zopolato Neves was born Jan. 7, 1999, in Campinas, in the Brazilian state of São Paulo. A natural left-hander, he can also find his place as a full-band outside back in modules that involve a three-man defense, but also as a left center back always in a three-man defense. Very fast, he has a keen sense of both goal and assist, as well as being adept at movements without the ball. He grew up at Corinthians, then in 2020 came to Italy, to Monza, where he stayed for three seasons, two in Serie B and one in Serie A. He is at all’Inter Milan from 2023-2024 and so far between all competitions has made 113 appearances and scored 5 goals.

In the Brazilian national team he has played four games, two in 2023 and two in October this year, without scoring goals.
