Juan Arizala is well known to international observers and had also received proposals from Belgium and some English Premier League clubs. A highly prospective player, Arizala grew up at Cyclones FC and Deportivo Independiente Medellin, where he has been playing in the first team since 2023 despite his young age. Internationally, he made his name with Colombia’s Under-20 selection, while he has yet to make his debut with the South American senior national team. Arizala is a left-back who can also play in a more advanced position: he has been employed as a winger during some matches in the Colombian league.

Arizala, whose dream is to play in the World Cup, will go to occupy one of the two slots reserved for non-EU players: Milan until now had both of them free. The young full-back will go to reinforce Massimiliano Allegri’s battery of outfielders, which now sees Pervis Estupinan, who has so far failed to convince the Rossoneri fans, and Davide Bartesaghi on the left. On the exit front, the Rossoneri are reflecting on the situation of Santiago Gimenez, who has received proposals from Sunderland and Leeds. So far the player’s father has denied a transfer to the Premier League, but the coming weeks could bring important developments.

In the event of the Mexican player’s transfer, Milan will have to return to the market in search of a central forward, among the hottest names is German Fullkrug, who is struggling not a little at West Ham.
