Emery has to do without only the injured Mings and Barkley. With these absences, the Spanish coach is ready to reintroduce the Tielemans-Kamara tandem in the middle of the field, with McGinn, Rogers and Buendía supporting the maneuver on the three-quarter and the usual Watkins as an offensive reference.

On the opposite front, Arteta is counting on recovering at least one of Mosquera and Saliba to fill the hole left by the absence of Gabriel Magalhães, who is in the pits along with Havertz. From the midfield forward, Zubimendi and Rice should act as the central screen, with Saka, Eze and Martinelli tasked with finishing the game behind the lone striker Gyökeres.

Probable lineups

Aston Villa (4-2-3-1): Martinez; Cash, Konsa, Torres, Digne; Tielemans, Kamara; McGinn, Rogers, Buendia; Watkins. Coach: Emery.

Arsenal (4-2-3-1): Raya; Timber, Mosquera, Hincapie, Calafiori; Zubimendi, Rice; Saka, Eze, Martinelli; Gyokeres. Coach: Arteta.
