Raúl González Blanco joins the list of possible candidates for the Leganés bench after the exoneration of Paco López. The former Real Madrid player thus joins the group formed by José Luis Oltra, Rubén Albés and Marco Motta. Although these four names have already emerged, the club’s sports management has no intention of rushing the choice of the new coach.

Everything suggests that, for this week, training will continue to be led by Igor Oca, coach of Leganés B, who had already occupied the first team bench in the challenge against Córdoba, which ended in a draw.
The Leganés option would fit into Raúl’s plans, as the Madrid native wants to stay in the Comunidad de Madrid to remain close to his family. That is why he has turned down several proposals that have come from foreign clubs.

José Luis Oltra is a very experienced coach with great knowledge of the Segunda División. Rubén Albés, on the other hand, has appeared on the lists of several clubs in the category that changed coaches during the season, but he has not reached agreements with anyone. Marco Motta, formerly of several Italian teams, also played in Spain, at Almeria, before hanging up his boots.
