The season of Dolomiti Energia Trentino continues tight, which in the aftermath of the 94-90 defeat at the Unipol Forum in Assago against Olimpia Milano is already in France to reach Bourg-en-Bresse, ahead of the game against JL Bourg valid for the tenth day of the group stage of the Eurocup, scheduled for Tuesday, December 9 at 7:30 p.m. Twenty-four hours before the match spoke Fabio Bongi, Trento assistant coach, who has a’clear idea of what awaits the bianconeri: “We clearly have a few hours to prepare for the game against Bourg after being protagonists on a difficult court such as Milan, where we alternated lights and shadows” he said.

“We have to correct what did not work: the finish in offense and the defense in the first minutes– explained Bongi again. It is all part of our growth path, and the challenge with Bourg represents another important stage. We are aware of our means and we know what aspects we need to continue working on: with time I am sure we will find the best set-up. With this match our Eurocup return leg begins: in the first leg we played a bad game against a very experienced and physical team. Today, however, we are a group with more chemistry, balance and mutual knowledge. We want to be competitive and produce an effort that will allow us to aspire to the two points”.

Loaded for the French commitment also Andrej Jakimovski, who is back from the double-figure (10 points) recorded against Olimpia Milano: “We fought at the Forum and I think that, overall, we played a good game. We are of course sorry for the final outcome, but we left the court with our heads held high. Bourg-en-Bresse is one of the strongest teams in the whole competition: in the first game we had a lot of difficulties, but today we know better what it takes to try to counter their physicality and talent. They are a formation that plays very well together, and we will have to be good at playing a game of energy and concentration for all 40 minutes”.

“We do not have a lot of time to prepare for the challenge, but I am sure we will come ready and give 100 percent to try to bring home the win” concluded the Macedonian basketball player.
