Two heavy injuries for Alessandro Magro’s roster.

Germani Brescia and coach Alessandro Magro will have to do without two important pawns in upcoming fixtures.

The EuroCup date against France’s Bourg-en-Bresse cost the Brianza team dearly.

“Germani Brescia announces that during last Tuesday’s 7DAYS EuroCup game against JL Bourg-en-Bresse the athlete Mike Cobbins suffered a facial trauma that prompted the club to perform a CT scan, which turned out to be negative. The player, however, was found to have a retinal injury that resulted in minor surgery, which will keep him off the court for about ten days,” reads the note from the White and Blue club.

“The club also informs that in the last quarter of the same game the athlete Troy Caupain suffered an injury to his right shoulder. Tests performed earlier today showed a second-degree injury of the pectoralis major tendon. The healing timetable for the player, who has already begun his rehabilitation course, will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis,” the Brescia statement continued.
