On the field where the Miami Marlins’ baseball games are usually played, the Spaniard managed to take home the victory, coming back, in the third period, from a really important disadvantage in the super tie-break (0-5). All in front of many distinguished guests, including former Inter and Milan striker Ronaldo.

“I had never played against Fonseca, so it was the first time. More importantly, I had never played in a baseball stadium before. It was really special to come back to Miami and play in front of these special people. You always experience a great energy” the words of the Spanish outfielder. The Brazilian thus did not disfigure against Carlos Alcaraz. For many, Joao Fonseca is destined to reach the level of Jannik Sinner and, indeed, Carlos Alcaraz.
