Jasmine Paolini does not repeat in doubles with Sara Errani
WTA 1000 Wuhan: Jasmine Paolini and Sara Errani out in the round of 16
After qualifying to the quarterfinals in Wuhan in the singles draw, Jasmine Paolini failed to repeat in the doubles with Sara Errani. The Italian pair, in fact, è was defeated by the duo formed by Katerina Siniakova and Ekaterina Alexandrova with a score of 4-6 6-4 10-8.
In the first set it was the Czech and the Russian who placed the first stretch in the second game. The two blues, however, did not give up and first recovered the disadvantage then put the arrow in the eighth game. Errani and Paolini, however, could not hold the serve, but redeemed themselves in a big way in the next round by winning the first partial 6-4.
The second set was decided by the break in the opening by Siniakova and Alexandrova, as the two players then managed their serves well, closing the score at 6-4 and taking the match to the super tie-break.
In the super tie-break, balance reigned and in the end it was a few exchanges that made the difference in favor of Siniakova and Alexandrova, who were good at managing their service turns and also taking advantage of Jasmine Paolini's tiredness.
