Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc commented positively on the test day in Abu Dhabi with the 2026 tires: “It was a very positive test day, the last day on track this year but also the first to evaluate the final tire specification for next season”.

“We had a lot of things to try and it was very important to run with these new compounds to begin to understand them and take this knowledge into next year” said the Monegasque driver, who finished in 14th place.

“I want to say thank you very much to everyone for their support this season. I will see you next year”, Leclerc closed.

The Formula 1 drivers will return to the track at the end of January, for the traditional tests in Barcelona.
