“For this Christmas, we couldn’t have asked for a better gift”: these are the words at the beginning of Diletta Leotta’s social post, published on Wednesday, in which the anchorwoman announced that she is expecting, two and a half years after the birth of her first-born daughter Aria. A beloved face of sports on TV, Diletta Leotta shared the post with a photo showing her with her husband, Schalke 04 goalkeeper Loris Karius, little Aria and her little dog, the foxy Lillo.

“Aria will become a big sister, our hearts are ready to love twice as much” then concluded the Catanian presenter, who on Instagram alone is followed by more than 9 million followers. Within a few minutes, not surprisingly, hundreds of thousands of likes arrived, to which were added numerous comments: among them those of sports personalities and colleagues from the small screen, from Claudio Marchisio to Federica Masolin, passing through Rossella Fiamingo and Melissa Satta.

The comments were also numerous.

Diletta Leotta and Loris Karius have been romantically linked since Oct. 2022: the two gave birth to their first daughter, Aria, on Aug. 16, 2023, among the 1991-born anchorwoman&#8217s other birthday. Leotta and Karius married the following year, in a ceremony held on the island of Vulcano on June 22, 2024.

Aldo SeghedoniDiletta Leotta reveals her sports past and what she really doesn&#8217t like: photos

Diletta Leotta was a guest on Alessandro Cattelan’s podcast.
On Supernova she talked about everything.
Obviously talked a lot about soccer.
The presenter, married to German goalkeeper Karius, is one of the best-known faces of our TV.

For more than 10 years she has been dealing with soccer.

But before soccer she had another passion.
She practiced swimming.
Not a surprise, since she is Sicilian.
But then she also tried to switch to modern dance.
Break dancing however wasn’t really for her.
And in general she doesn’t like dancing.
She told this by also retracing her past in Miss Italia.
"Everyone danced but I preferred to recite a poem".
