“My clear goal for 2026 is to win the Australian Open. The good and the bad is that it will be the very first tournament of the season. I want to be ready to play at a high level and I am looking forward to training to prepare myself as well as possible both physically and mentally for the new season”.

“The fact that we play early in the season makes it harder to get there at a competitive pace, but that’s not necessarily bad for me, it’s just that other players perform better in that context.”

“I think I played very good tennis in Australia, and small details were the cause of my defeats. I need that final push to move forward, but I believe and hope this year will be different.”
