Denzel Dumfries underwent on Tuesday a surgical operation to try to solve the problem that has kept him off the playing fields for forty days now. “This afternoon, Tuesday, Dec. 16, Denzel Dumfries underwent surgery to stabilize his left ankle at the “Fortius Clinic” in London. The Dutch outfielder will follow a rehabilitation program in the coming weeks” reads the official channels of the Nerazzurri club, which in the coming days will have to evaluate the possibility of accelerating in the market to try to ensure depth in the external department, in view of a very intense second half of the season. In recent days, in particular, the name of Genoan Brooke Norton-Cuffy had been mentioned.
The English outfielder has been able to win space and consideration through steady growth and increasingly convincing performances in the last period.
