Important recognition for the women’s Internazionali d'Italia

The Internazionali BNL d’Italia received from the WTA the recognition of “EMEA Tournament Team of the Year” or the award that goes to the team of the year for a tournament organized in the EMEA (an acronym for Europe, Middle East and Africa) area and intended for the entire team that worked on the 2025 edition of the tournament.

An award, the WTA points out in the official motivation, that “rewards outstanding teamwork, leadership, and operational excellence. It reflects the collective effort behind the success of the tournament, because realizing an extraordinary event is never the result of one person”s work.

The award given at the Internazionali BNL d’Italia, the WTA continues, “is a celebration of the entire team working on the tournament: their shared vision, collaboration, and commitment have created a strong culture and a positive, vibrant environment for everyone involved”.

A recognition, therefore, that makes the Internazionali BNL d’Italia even more special, confirming the important work done by the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation, together with Sport and Health, in the’organization of major events.
