Federica Pellegrini is expecting for the second time. The’former blue swimming star announced the’arrival of her second child with a post on social media in tandem with her husband Matteo Giunta.

“It’s raining meatballs”” Federica wrote on Instagram showing an unmistakable photo of her belly surrounded by her hands, those of her husband and her firstborn daughter Matilde, also veiling that it is another baby girl: “We are waiting for you little one…”.

The 37-year-old Venetian’s firstborn daughter, Matilde, will be two years old next Jan. 3. Federica married bel 2022 to Matteo Giunta, her coach, with whom she has been romantically linked since 2019.

In her career, the “Divine,” a nickname she inherited from German Franziska van Almsick, also a swimming legend, has won an Olympic gold and silver medal, 6 gold, 4 silver and 1 world bronze medal in long style, 1 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze medals in short style, and1 set 11 world records including 2 in short style, 8 in the 20 and 3 in the 400 freestyle.
