Lazio market, working on two quality gifts for Maurizio Sarri

All of a sudden, here is that Lazio has been “freed”. The biancoceleste club can peacefully act on the repair market. A nice blow for Maurizio Sarri who, in light of the available squad, will be able to have, in January, a few more reinforcements to increase the quality rate of the group he currently has at his disposal. Many names are being mentioned as possible targets for Lazio. Specifically, there are two possible transactions that could go through and also rather quickly.

The first one concerns Lorenzo Insigne. L’ex-Napoli, having concluded his adventure at Toronto FC (66 appearances with 15 goals in total), has a great desire to return to play in the top Italian league. Maurizio Sarri would be the perfect coach for the Neapolitan striker (they worked together from 2015 to 2028) who is looking forward to the longed-for white smoke. There is talk of a six-month contract at a figure of about 1.3 million euros. In case of reappointment for next season, the salary will be revised.

The’other big target would be Lazar Samardzic. The offensive midfielder on the strength of Atalanta would be very much liked by the biancoceleste coach, who has reportedly pointed him out to the club executives. The real problem is that La Dea does not seem willing to deprive him. The Serbian national is an important asset for Raffaele Palladino. However, in the face of a suitable offer (no less than 20/25 million euros), it cannot be ruled out that the Bergamo club would consider letting him go.

The club is not willing to let him go.

Don’t forget that coach Maurizio Sarri also holds AC Milan midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek in high esteem (the Diavolo seems obliged to give up someone, given the January expenses he will have to incur). The English midfielder would be an important added value for Lazio.

What seems clear is that the Biancoceleste club, after the summer market standoff, is finally ready to give Maurizio Sarri at least a couple of quality reinforcements to try to improve a team that, to date, has nevertheless done rather well on the pitch. News is expected soon.
