Group B sends the second day into the archives with the big match between Egypt and South Africa, both with full points after the opening round of the African Cup of Nations 2025. Kickoff at 4 p.m. at the Adrar Stadium in Agadir. Salah and his teammates bent Zimbabwe (2-1) in the opener, with the same result South Africa got the better of Angola.

Commissioner Hassan is expected to confirm the 4-2-3-1, with Salah, Mostafa Mohamed and Trezeguet moving behind Marmoush, the offensive reference.

On the other side Broos seems intent on giving continuity to the 4-4-2: Foster and Mbule will lead the attack, while on the lanes will act Nkota and especially Apollis, a great protagonist and best on the field in the previous match.

Probable lineups

Egypt (4-2-3-1): El Shenawy; Hany, Ibrahim, Abdelmaguid, Fatouh; Attia; Fathy; Salah, Mostafa Mohamed, Trezeguet; Marmoush. Coach: Hossam.

South Africa (4-4-2): Williams; Mudau, Ngezana, Mbokazi, Modiba; Nkota, Mokoena, Sithole, Appollis; Mbule, Foster. Coach: Broos.
