The LA Lakers also bitterly mourned as they lost, in front of their home crowd, their showdown with Houston (119-96 the final). The yellowviola lost, through injury, Austin Reeves, who exited at halftime with a calf problem. “Austin clearly felt something” said Lakers coach JJ Redick after the game. “We went to halftime and then as we were coming out of the locker room, Dr. Sims told me he was out”. LeBron James ended what may have been his last game played on Christmas with a loss (18 points).

Spectacle in the Denver-Minnesota challenge won by the Nuggets after an overtime: 142-138 the final). Nikola Jokic is the’authentic star of the contest. The Serbian star finished with yet another triple-double of his season: 56 points, 16 rebounds and 15 assists. Not enough, on the other side, a super Anthony Edwards (44 points with 14/25 from the field). Thanks to this victory, Denver rises to 22 wins and facing eight losses. Minnesota&#8217s season remains more than positive: 20-11 the’current record.

Golden State also smiles, which, thanks to 26 points from the unstoppable Steph Curry, sweeps Dallas: 126-116 the final). The Warriors immediately ran away and never let the Mavs have a chance to get back in the score. Not enough, in Dallas’ house, were the 27 points of the increasingly excellent Cooper Flagg.

Beautiful challenge between New York and Cleveland, won, in a sprint, by the Knicks: 126-124 the final (42 to 28 the partial, in the fourth period, of the New Yorkers). Shining brightly was the Knicks’ usual All Star Brunson, who finished with 34 points on the scoreboard (10/25 from the field) and made the difference when the ball started to heat up.
