Inter market, a new suitor for Davide Frattesi pops up

With the approach of the market window, the future of Davide Frattesi punctually returns to the agenda at Inter. The revival of the former Sassuolo midfielder, expected with Cristian Chivu on the bench, has never really materialized: complicit in a summer preparation conditioned by physical problems, the Italian has found little space and in January he could say goodbye. A transfer that would also allow the Nerazzurri to finance the market, with a valuation set between 30 and 35 million euros.
Luciano Spalletti would see him well at Juventus, which could try to insert Muharemovic as a quid pro quo. Napoli and Roma also remain vigilant on the player, but the hottest track (and especially the one favored by Inter, unwilling to reinforce direct rivals) leads to Turkey. In fact, Fenerbahçe is looking for a big shot in midfield and would be ready to invest up to 40 million. The Istanbul club, currently second in the standings three points behind Galatasaray, would be willing to negotiate on the basis of a loan with mandatory redemption.
This would be a formula pleasing to Inter, which would guarantee the revenue needed to target the big target for the right flank, Marco Palestra, valued by Atalanta at around 40 million. To replace Frattesi, on the other hand, the idea would be to bring Aleksandar Stankovic, now on loan at Bruges, back to Milan. On paper, then, all the fits seem to fit together: Fenerbahçe wants to buy, Inter wants to sell, and Frattesi is looking for more continuity. But the negotiation is not so simple.
For several weeks, Inter has been working to identify the ideal heir to Yann Sommer, whose contract is expiring and who will most likely leave Milan at the end of the season. Despite the encouraging performances of Josep Martínez, Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio have decided that they will buy a great goalkeeper in the summer and the young Spaniard will also serve as a reserve for next season.
Of the various names sounded out by the Inter management, Diogo Costa has also been added recently. The very strong Portuguese goalkeeper has a contract that binds him to Porto until 2027 and seems to be wavering on renewal: there has been some contact between his entourage and the club’s management but the white smoke has not yet arrived.
