Milan market, bid coming in for big summer flop

In the last summer soccer market session, Milan invested heavily to please Massimiliano Allegri and to become competitive again after a very complicated season with Paulo Fonseca first and Sérgio Conceição later on the bench. The Rossoneri club has invested in every department, excluding goal (Pietro Terracciano arrived for free), to give Allegri a lineup capable of competing for top positions in the standings and hit the minimum goal: qualification for the next Champions League. Not all of the signings, however, are performing as expected.

C'is a detail that did not go unnoticed in Milan-Napoli.
On the occasion of the Italian Super Cup semifinal, Milan took the field with the players’ names written in Arabic on their official jerseys.

This symbolic decision reflects the Club’s respect and closeness to the host country and its culture.
And the commitment to strengthening ties with local audiences and the Arab world, as evidenced by the recent opening of the Milan Academy in Jeddah.

A.C. Milan’s growing presence in the region has further solidified its position as the most popular Italian club in the MENA area.
And the most followed in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
With more than six million supporters in the MENA region, the Club has been actively present in the Middle East for two years.
Through this initiative, Milan intends to celebrate the link between sports and culture.

He recognized Saudi Arabia as an important stopover for major international events and a strategic partner for the Club’s global growth and development.
The move did not bring luck to the Rossoneri team.

Napoli won 2-0 eliminating Allegri’s team.

This is the case, for example, of Christopher Nkunku, the most expensive purchase of the Rossoneri&#8217s summer: the Frenchman left Chelsea for a whopping 37 million euros, a considerable sum that helped generate huge expectations about the center forward. From the start, however, his performance has been disappointing and he is already on the fringes of Massimiliano Allegri’s project. So far Nkunku has scored just 1 goal (in the Coppa Italia) and only in the last few outings has he given some positive signs, which, however, is not enough to guarantee him a future in Milan.

The Rossoneri club, at Massimiliano Allegri’s input of course, has already decided to dispose of Christopher Nkunku in the winter soccer market session and is looking for buyers. Fenerbahce and Galatasaray have already sounded the ground, especially the Giallorossi club given the very likely departure of Mauro Icardi (expiring at the end of the season but could leave as early as January). Igli Tare and Giorgio Furlani are hoping to find some interested club in the very rich Saudi Pro League: the sheikhs could shell out the 35 million euros demanded by the Diavolo for Nkunku’s card without too much trouble.

A Milan has already taken precautions with the temporary purchase with option to buy back Niclas Füllkrug from West Ham, where by now the German was on the sidelines. On Friday the former Borussia Dortmund man trained with the group for the first time and there is great curiosity to understand the impact he will have on the Rossoneri.

In the summer, the Rossoneri management will bet big on Dusan Vlahovic, whose contract with Juventus is expiring. Until a few months ago, his farewell to the Bianconeri club seemed a foregone conclusion, then the arrival of Luciano Spalletti increased his chances of staying, but if Massimiliano Allegri were to call, it would be hard for the Serbian to say ‘no’.
