Milan market, Massimiliano Allegri categorical about possible trade with Juventus

Massimiliano Allegri also spoke about calciomercato in the press conference for the presentation of Milan-Verona, a match valid for the 18th day of Serie A, scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 28, at 12:30 p.m. at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium in Milan. In particular, the Rossoneri coach rejected the possible swap with Juventus that would see Samuele Ricci, a profile much liked by Luciano Spalletti, land in Turin, and Federico Gatti wear the Diavolo shirt, returning to the Livorno coach’s court.
“Ricci will stay here for a long time, he will not move at all – stressed the Milan coach -: he is a reliable player, a smart guy and above all he really cares to be at Milan. I am very happy, when he has played he has always done well. I do not see the possibility that he could leave Milan”. Allegri thus nipped in the bud the possible negotiation with Juventus, which will have to turn to another midfield target: the coach from Certaldo also likes Davide Frattesi very much, with whom he has already worked in the national team.
Restaying on the subject of the market, the Rossoneri coach also spoke about Niclas Fullkrug, who will officially be a new Milan player from January 2: “Fullkrug has characteristics that we do not have in the team. My first feeling is that he was very smiling and very happy to have arrived at Milan. He is behind in condition, he needs to work. This week he will be put minutes in his legs and he can be there against Cagliari (match scheduled for Friday, January 2 at the’Unipol Domus at 8:45 p.m., ed.)”.
Allegri hopes to be able to count on the German center forward as soon as possible, since Rafael Leao will still be missing against the Scaligeri: “He is not in the match and will not be summoned: he has this discomfort that does not allow him to shoot at his speed. I preferred to leave him at home because part-time players are not good”.
With Verona, therefore, it will be Nkunku’s turn again: “He has a very important technique to see him in training. I am confident, he has to be because he is in an environment that wants him and is waiting for him to score goals. I think it’s a matter of fitting in. The Italian league is very formative, and it is the second best in the world after the English league. It is much more difficult. You have less space, they play on you, there’s a lot more guile, the games are dirtier. Maybe it needs a little bit more time to adapt”.
