Alejo Sarco flipped to Borussia Mönchengladbach

There is no shortage of market movement in Germany. Bayer Leverkusen has reached an agreement with the’other Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach for the loan transfer of Argentine striker Alejo Sarco.

The 20-year-old moves to the banks of the Lower Rhine with immediate effect and will remain in Mönchengladbach until the end of the season.

“We greatly appreciate Alejo’s qualities. Right now it is crucial for him to find continuity of play to further develop his great potential. In Mönchengladbach he will be able to do this at the highest level of the Bundesliga” said the managing director of the Rossoneri club, Simon Rolfes. The contract of Sarco, who arrived in Leverkusen in January 2025 from Vélez Sarsfield, runs until June 30, 2029.
