Fiorentina market, not only Edin Dzeko: official un'altro cessione

Firenze continues to be particularly active on the winter soccer market in terms of both incoming and outgoing transactions. After announcing the arrival of Giovanni Fabbian on Wednesday, the Viola made official two disposals within a couple of hours: Edin Dzeko, who moved to Schalke O4, and Simon Sohm, who transferred to Bologna. “ACF Fiorentina announces that it has sold, outright, the rights to the sports performance of the player Edin Dzeko to F.C. Schalke 04” reads the statement of the Tuscan club.
“It is true, things did not go as we all would have liked, in soccer it happens: but this does not affect the affection and gratitude I have and will have towards Fiorentina, Florence and the purple fans – wrote the Bosnian bomber in a post published on his Instagram profile -. In these months I have had the opportunity to share everyday life with wonderful guys, to whom I wish the best: I am sure they will be able to continue this season in the best way as they are already proving. Good luck to the whole club, thanks to all those working behind the scenes and a special thought to the Commisso” family.
The one who made the reverse journey was Fabbian, who was acquired by the Rossoblù club on loan with a buy-back obligation set under certain conditions. The new purple player made 91 appearances with Bologna between Serie A, Coppa Italia, Italian Super Cup, Champions League and Europa League, scoring 11 goals and winning one Coppa Italia.
Florence has turned to Fabbian since Tommaso Baldanzi is going to Genoa: the 2003 class in the morning said goodbye to his now former Roma teammates and is ready to change jersey, so much so that he is already expected in the city of the Lanterna later today.
The breakthrough was linked to another transaction with the capital club. The deal, in fact, also surprisingly included the class of 2006 Lorenzo Venturino, who apparently is highly appreciated by Giallorossi helmsman Gian Piero Gasperini.
