Adriano publicly denounced, through his social channels, a real scam that affected his mother in Rio de Janeiro. Criminals took advantage of the most advanced artificial intelligence technologies to clone the voice and identity of the former Inter player as well as Roma player, thus managing to convince the woman to make a transfer of more than 15 thousand reais (about 2.400 euros) to a bank account that obviously did not belong to her son.

Protests also for Fiorentina, after a moviola episode involving Rugani: Empoli graced and 1-1 at the triple whistle.

Adrian’s reaction was immediate and very harsh. In a video that quickly went viral, the’Emperor clarified that he had not changed his phone number and issued a 24-hour ultimatum to the perpetrator of the scam: “With family you don&#8217t mess around. Return the money or I will come after you,” he declared in a peremptory tone. Adriano then urged his millions of followers to pay close attention to suspicious messages and calls, especially when they leverage seemingly familiar but artificially generated rumors.

The brightest period of Adriano&#8217s career coincided with his experience at Inter. Arrived in 2001, after experiences with Fiorentina and Parma his talent exploded between 2003 and 2007, thanks in part to Roberto Mancini. In the Nerazzurri he won two Scudetti, two Italian Cups and two Italian Super Cups, ending the 2006-07 season as Serie A’s top scorer with 22 goals. After a gradual decline, he left Inter in 2009 to return to Brazil.

In January 2010, he returned to Italy to wear the Roma jersey, in a move that at least initially aroused great enthusiasm among the Giallorossi fans. However, his experience in the capital turned out to be brief and troubled: physical difficulties and lack of continuity limited his performance, preventing him from regaining the brilliance of his Interist days.

Adriano collected few appearances and left in March 2011, effectively ending his adventure in European soccer. Despite a career ending full of regrets, the’Emperor remains an iconic figure in the soccer of the 2000s and is still beloved by Inter fans who have never forgotten him.
