Firecracker stuns Emil Audero: Beppe Marotta and Lautaro Martinez strict

Inter terrified by what happened on the field of Cremonese, well beyond the 2-0 victory that allows to stretch in the standings on Milan second. The match at the Zini stadium was in fact heavily affected by what happened at 49′, when a firecracker thrown from the stands of the Nerazzurri fans fell near home goalkeeper Emil Audero. After a brief suspension, the match resumed and then ended, but the condemnation from Beppe Marotta and also the players of the leading team (starting with Lautaro Martinez) is unanimous.

Also dry was Lautaro Martinez, who in turn spoke to the microphones of ‘DAZN’. “These things must not happen. There’s a risk of a person getting hurt. We have to be careful, because we give a show that is seen all over the world. I want to apologize to Audero and to all the Cremonese fans” said the Inter’Inter captain.

Just within minutes of the chaos over the’unfortunate incident, Lautaro Martinez had gone to ask Beneamata fans to calm down while Audero, who played for Inter in the 2023-24 season and is now owned by Como, reassured everyone and so the match resumed.
