Juventus soccer market: having archived the winter session with the signings of Emil Holm and Jeremie Boga, the attention of the Bianconeri management now shifts to the confirmation of the team&#8217s most valuable pieces. One of them is undoubtedly Kenan Yildiz, for whom a contract extension is scheduled to be finalized as early as this week. The urgency doesn&#8217t stem from the expiration of the Turkish player&#8217s agreement, scheduled for a still distant 2029, but concerns in particular the salary that his contract currently guarantees him.

In fact, it is no mystery that Yildiz now represents a profile that is coveted by numerous big names in Europe, which is why Juventus intends to armor him with a very rich salary increase. The idea is to raise his season salary from the current 1.7 million euros to around 6 plus bonuses, making him the highest paid player at Juventus given also the departure of Dusan Vlahovic that will materialize at the end of the season. The parties are expected to meet to discuss the matter at close quarters, with the goal of closing the deal by the game against Lazio scheduled for the weekend.

A haste that only confirms the trust that Juventus places in Yildiz, a player whom the management aims to make a genuine symbol of the team in the years to come. Operation therefore also of perspective, considering also that the Turk is currently out of action due to an overload to the thigh adductor remedied during the match against Parma. Certainly absent on Thursday in the Coppa Italia on the field of Atalanta, his place could be taken precisely by Boga. Who, by the way, is one of the exes of the match. Goal: to return to the field against Inter on Feb. 14.

“In the first half Yildiz felt pain, but managed to grit his teeth. Now it also hurts to walk, but the doctors are confident. For Thursday it is difficult, let” let”, Luciano Spalletti said about him on Sunday night, just on the sidelines of Juventus’ trip to Parma. Here the Bianconeri had finally won 4-1, with a double by Bremer, goals by McKennie and Jonathan David, as well as a sensational own goal by Cambiaso.

Kenan Yildiz, born in Regensburg in 2005 but Turkish in both origins and nationality (he chose to play precisely for the selection of the country where his father was born), made his debut for Juventus’ first team in 2023 after two seasons in the ranks of the Bianconeri’s Next Gen formation. Meanwhile, he has already reached 130 appearances for the Old Lady.
