Serie A, disqualification for six players

There are six players active in the Serie A league who received a day of disqualification after the matches of the fourth day of the return leg, which opened last Friday, Jan. 30, with Lazio’s 3-2 win over Genoa and closed Tuesday night with Milan’s 3-0 away win against Bologna. One of the disqualified players, Honest Ahanor of Atalanta, will also have to pay a fine of 5,000 euros resulting from being sent off at the start of the match on Sunday afternoon against Como.

These are the reasons for each disqualification, as reported by the Serie A league statement.
FOOTBALL PLAYERS DISQUALIFIED – Disqualification for one effective day of the match and fine of € 5,000.00 – AHANOR Honest (Atalanta): for having, at the 8th of the first half, hit with a slap a player of the opposing team; infraction detected by the Fourth Official.
Disqualification for one actual match day: SARR Amin (Hellas Verona): double caution for misbehavior towards an opponent.

CALCIATORI NON ESPULSI – Disqualification for one actual match day – DE ROON Marten Elco (Atalanta): for misbehavior towards an opponent; already cautioned (fifth penalty).
PELLEGRINI Luca (Lazio): for misbehavior towards an opponent; already cautioned (fifth sanction).
PRATI Matteo (Torino): for misconduct towards an opponent; already cautioned (fifth sanction).
VLASIC Nikola (Torino): for misbehavior against an opponent; already cautioned (fifth penalty).
