VR46 Racing Team, Fabio Di Giannantonio is already comfortable

Fabio Di Giannantonio was back on track for the second day of the MotoGP collective winter test at Sepang International Circuit. The protagonist of the afternoon was the rain, which, however, did not prevent the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team rider from feeling comfortable and fast with the Ducati Desmosedici GP in the early hours of the morning, finishing in third position.

The second day of testing closed early for the Roman rider, who did not ride in wet conditions. With a dry track during the morning session, Fabio tested the new fairing, offering positive comments and carrying out intensive aerodynamic work both on the track and in the box. Positive feelings also for the Roman, who over the course of the day completed 38 laps, with 1’57″049 as his personal best. Di Giannantonio finishes in the Top3 for the second consecutive day.

“It was a pity about the rain in the afternoon, because we had some things to try and we couldn–t, admitted Di Giannantonio.

But we are happy with the morning session, we focused on parts of the aerodynamics, which were a lot. We also have positive comments about the new fairing. Definitely, it is very difficult to confirm a new fairing with only a few laps on one track and one condition. We have to decide for the first race, there is still work to be done at home” too.

“I am giving my feedback, but it was definitely positive testing for us. We will have another day tomorrow, so we will focus on that again as well. Overall, I feel very good, everything is coming very easy at the moment. I want to keep my feet on the ground, but for now I am very happy with the work” concluded the Roman.
