Juventus market, two issues to be addressed and resolved quickly

The winter market has ended without any major market blows. The arrivals of Boga and Holm are potentially interesting but, in the end, the striker everyone was waiting for did not arrive. Even the last minute attempt for the return of Kolo Muani was unsuccessful, complicit with a Tottenham side that decided to stonewall. Needless to overthink it, better to focus on other priorities. Specifically, there are two issues that need to be addressed and resolved quickly.
The first concerns McKennie. The American, a real wild card for Spalletti, has a contract expiring on June 30, 2026. From what he recently stated, he would like to continue his adventure in the bianconero: “Renewal? I don’t know, I leave that to my agent. He talks to me, but I hope to stay here”, his clear words on the matter. Several teams are watching him but Juventus seems determined not to let him leave.
There’s then the “case” Vlahovic. The Serbian, out with an injury since last Nov. 29 (Juventus-Cagliari) is looking forward to returning to the field. If all goes well, by mid-March he will be available. At that point, he will do everything he can to prove that he is the man for the future as well. He will have to, to the tune of goals and great performances, convince Spalletti and the club that there is no need for a new striker and that betting on him is a’very good idea. His contract is also expiring in June and there are those who are pressing him to pack his bags (Milan).
The feeling is that Juventus wants to address the two issues as soon as possible, so as to also give a signal to coach Spalletti, who, as is well known, has not yet decided whether or not he will continue his adventure on the Bianconeri bench.
The extension of his contract, at least on the part of the Bianconeri club, seems certain but there is first to find a total agreement with the Tuscan coach who, almost certainly, will want guarantees at the squad level. Important reinforcements are needed to raise the bar even higher.
