Bayern Munich swoops on Inter star's star

The winter market ended on Monday, but rumors about Bayern Munich do not stop. According to Sport1 reports, the German club is looking for a central defender in the summer, and it has identified a profile in Italy that both the management and coach Vincent Kompany like a lot.
Dayot Upamecano’s contract extension, which came after grueling negotiations, has armored the German top club’s central defender department: alongside the Frenchman, the permanent starter is Jonathan Tah. But behind them the hierarchies could change: South Korean defender Min Jae-Kim is looking around for a team where he can play with more continuity, and could leave Munich in a few months.
Among the replacements being screened by the German champions is also Inter defender Yann Bisseck: the colossal German central defender, who grew up in Cologne, arrived quietly in 2023 at Inter, on a zero-parameter basis from Aarhus, after less than positive experiences at Holstein Kiel, Roda and Vitoria Guimaraes.
In Milan, on the other hand, the 2000-born defender has settled in and grown exponentially, establishing himself at the international level.
In the last two years his market value has multiplied and now the player is worth around 40 million euros.
This season Bisseck, having overcome his initial physical troubles, has carved out his place in the team and has shown himself especially in the Champions League. Several clubs have immediately expressed interest, and among them would be Bayern Munich, which has inquired about the 2000-year-old with a view to a possible summer deal.
At the moment, there has been no direct contact with the player, who is still hoping to return to the national team and earn a place among Germany’s squad for the 2026 World Cup. Bisseck has a contract set to expire in 2029 with Inter.
