Blu Basket Bergamo withdraws from the league

Blu Basket Bergamo with an official statement sent to the National Basketball League and Italian Basketball Federation has made official its withdrawal from the men’s A2 series championship.

“Today, the club Blu Basket 1971 has officially communicated to the National Basketball League and the Italian Basketball Federation its irrevocable decision to withdraw – it reads -, effective as of today, from the men’s A2 series championship due to the supervening and objective impossibility of sustaining the future economic, financial and organizational commitments related to participation in the aforementioned championship”.

“The company Blu Basket 1971, in the aforementioned communication, has remarked its full willingness to cooperate with the competent bodies for the completion of any consequent fulfillment, also for the purpose of administrative and federal regularization of its position” adds the note of the Lombard club.

“The club Blu Basket 1971 intends to thank all its members for their commitment during these months of competitive activity and all the fans who have supported it during this championship” concludes the statement of the Bergamo-based club.
