In the past few days Roma has made official the signing of Bryan Zaragoza from Bayern Munich: the Spanish player has moved to the Italian capital on a six-month loan with the right of redemption set at around 13 million euros. For the past six months, the star player played on loan at Celta Vigo but did not shine.

The coach of the Spanish team Claudio Giráldez in a press conference revealed a backstory just about Bryan Zaragoza: “There were rumors that we didn&#8217t get along but I never understood why these indiscretions. We had a very good relationship and I love him very much. He is a good guy, he has made a lot of progress with us and has matured a lot. He had an’opportunity and everyone agreed it was good. I wish him the best and thank him for his time with us”.

In fact, in recent weeks some Spanish media had reported on the difficult relationship between Bryan Zaragoza and Claudio Giráldez: the origin of the alleged disagreements seemed to be the Spanish footballer&#8217s position on the field and the tasks the coach gave him. Giráldez, however, wanted to deny everything publicly.

Born September 9, 2001 in Malaga, Bryan Zaragoza grew up footballingly in Granada. In 2020-21 he moved on a temporary basis to al’El Ejido. He returned to base and remained at Granada until 2024, after which he was bought by Bayern Munich. For the past two seasons he has been on loan at Osasuna and Celta Vigo. He counts 74 appearances between La Liga and Bundesliga with 17 goal appearances (8 goals, 9 assists).

Interviewed by Roma official channels, Bryan Zaragoza explained his decision to move to Italy: “It all happened very quickly: overnight I was told that a transfer to Roma was possible and I didn&#8217t hesitate a second. I couldn&#8217t wait to start, I already played in La Liga and Bundesliga and I never thought I would make it to Serie A. The decision was completely spontaneous, I know it is a difficult league but I will give everything to win”.
