Gonzalo Quesada holds on to win at'debut in Six Nations 2026

Gonzalo Quesada commented with satisfaction on Italy’s victory in the debut match of the Six Nations 2026: “We are happy, we did a great job. During the week we focused on what depended on us and now we can enjoy this success all together”.

Captain Michele Lamaro, on the other hand, dwelt in particular on the final minutes of the game: “We found ourselves defending in our own half of the field and we really put our heart into it. When you play everything in the last minutes you show how much you care about this jersey, this team and the teammate you have next to you.
