Between Luka Vušković and Bayern Munich there's a huge problem

Despite Dayot Upamecano’s contract renewal, Bayern Munich is still looking for a new defender.
Vincent Kompany needs to expand the department, and the very likely departure of Kim Min-jae next summer must also be considered. The South Korean wants to find a new place to play more continuously, consequently Bayern needs to replace him.
Among the main targets is Luka Vušković, who i this first part of the season has shown excellent things with the Hamburg shirt. It is no mystery that Bayern Munich is following him with particular attention, but there is a huge obstacle: Tottenham, the owner of the young defender’s card, will most likely kick out Cristian Romero and may therefore decide to replace him with Vušković in order not to have to intervene in the market.
Romero has angered the Spurs management with some controversial statements regarding the club’s buying campaign and, despite having a contract until 2029, the English club wants to get rid of him next summer. Luka Vušković could quietly replace him, indeed Thomas Franck would be delighted with this substitution and, in case it comes to fruition, Bayern Munich would have to change targets.
Recently Ivan Rakitic has opened up about the young compatriot’s future: “All European soccer is talking about him right now – said the former Barcelona star to Sky -. Bayern Munich has to go one step further, I think it is the best option for the boy. It is incredibly nice to see such a young boy revolutionize the world of soccer in this way. He and his family are working very well and gradually, certainly this has helped him”.
“I hope this gives the Croatian national team an outstanding central defender in the next ten to fifteen years because he has everything it takes to become a top player, he just has to keep it up. We will see if Tottenham will be able to keep him, in my opinion he is already ready to take an extra step by going to the best four or five clubs in the world” concluded Ivan Rakitic, now technical director of Hajduk Split.
