Max Eberl and Christoph Freund have been working for months to identify the ideal reinforcement for Bayern Munich’s defense.

In all likelihood, Kim Min-jae will leave the club in the summer and the club is monitoring several profiles to replace him. Among the candidates is Marcos Senesi, whose contract is expiring with Bournemouth.

The Argentine central defender has received several renewal offers from the English club but seems determined to leave the Premier League to try a new experience. The possibility of acquiring the champion at zero cost has attracted the attention of many: in addition to Bayern Munich, there are also Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and Milan on the Argentine player&#8217s trail.

The Argentine defender has received several offers for renewal.

Grew up in the ranks of San Lorenzo, Marcos Senesi in 2019 was bought by Feyenoord for 7 million euros and in the Netherlands he has definitely established himself. With the Rotterdam club’s jersey he played 116 games and for years was one of the Dutch club’s immovable starters, then in 2022 Bournemouth signed him by shelling out 15 million euros. He currently receives a salary of about 4 million euros a year including bonuses.

He could make room for Kim Min-jae, who is determined to make a change of scenery in order to play with greater continuity.

On his tracks are a number of Italian clubs but he will have to reduce his salary considerably if he wants to return to Serie A. Among the clubs most interested is Juventus, led by Kim Min-jae’s former coach Luciano Spalletti: together they did very well in Naples and the coach has asked the Bianconeri management to give the South Korean a try.

Marcos Senesi is not Bayern Munich&#8217s only target for the defense: also in the crosshairs is Luka Vuskovic, who in this first part of the season has shown excellent things with the Hamburg jersey. It is no mystery that Max Eberl is following him with particular attention but there is a major obstacle: Tottenham, owner of the young defender&#8217s card, will most likely kick out Cristian Romero and could therefore decide to replace him with Vuskovic in order not to have to intervene in the market.
